About Dr Amin Elkholy

Amin is a seasoned investment executive with extensive experience in MENA fund management and a background in technology. He is currently Chief Operations Officer at Modus Capital, an entrepreneurial ecosystem development platform and early-stage Venture Capital firm. He is adjunct faculty at Alliance Manchester Business School where he also serves as a member of the Global Advisory Board. Amin joined Modus after a 24 year career in investment management with a focus on frontier markets, based in London and Dubai. Before embarking on his career in finance, he spent 7 years at IC-Parc, a high-tech research and consulting centre at Imperial College London which specialised in applying Artificial Intelligence techniques to complex logistics and network operations of large corporations. Amin holds an MEng. in Software Engineering and PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Imperial College London, and an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School
