Interdependence and Competitive Strategy - Masterclass by Xavier Duran
The University of Manchester Middle East Centre is pleased to invite you to our ‘hybrid’ Masterclass ‘Interdependence and Competitive Strategy. Introductory insights from an Economics perspective’
Traditional approaches to competitive strategy tend to ignore the concept of interdependence, yet the real business world is full of examples of how organisations take into account the likely reaction of their competitors as they formulate their strategy. Strategic interdependence implies the recognition that actions will trigger reactions. Game theoretic perspectives in Economics are well positioned to provide insight into strategic interdependence. This introductory sampler lecture will present the intuitive insights that Game Theory and the Economics discipline can provide to better understand interdependence and their role in competitive strategy as delivered in our MBA programmes. The focus will be on practical application to the real business world.
You can join us at The Tower Plaza Hotel Dubai and get a chance to interact with our Programme Director and also network with our alumni and students who are eager to share their MBA journey and experience with you.
