Masterclass in Abu Dhabi: Memory and Emotions in Data Patterns

Introducing meso-data as data with memory and emotions, Patrick will discuss the phenomenon of ‘onsumers’ – a new word to describe online consumers. Algorithms track and capture consumer behavioural patterns. Data with memory and emotions go beyond individual choice. Algorithms become sufficiently intelligent because we outsource memory and because we betray our emotions to smart devices. The essence of meso-data is that you think you have memory but it has you. Building on a series of anecdotes from behavioural economics Patrick will present a critical review of data patterns using game theory in an attempt to also define a smart strategy for businesses.
